The author through proper reasoning, inducting and making conclusions, must prove the assertions or the theories of the argumentative essay. If the author fails to apply the reasons and conclusions to the topic of the essay such essay is considered to be an unsubstantiated opinion. Argument essay writing requires the ability of the author to show that he makes conclusions according to definite facts and not on his personal assumptions only.

Features of Argumentative Essays 1. It should have a well-defined, controversial issue, if the topic is not assigned. Readers should understand what the issue is and what you are arguing about. After stating your thesis, you will need to discuss the issue in depth so that your readers will understand the problem fully.
