Renewable sources of energy such as water, solar or wind energy are inexhaustible sources of energy and they will never run out. They do not cause environmental pollution; on the other hand non renewable sources of energy such as fossil fuels like oil, gas, coal are of limited quantity in the world and will eventually get exhausted. They also cause high amounts of environmental pollution. What we need to do is to limit the usage of Non renewable energy and try to incorporate renewable energy sources into our daily lives. One simple way to limit our electricity usage is to change our light bulbs to fluorescent bulbs, which pull much less energy than the standard bulb. One fluorescent bulb will save its users 2000 times its own weight in greenhouse gases (Energy Star , 2009). Buying domestic appliances such as refrigerators and freezers which have minimum standards energy efficiency standards & buy recycled goods which consume less energy to manufacture.
