Project 3 The Point o Defining the target o Determining the qualities of a print ad that best communicates to that target. Use: o Book chapters 10-13 o Lecture materials on Effective Print Advertising o Bern Bach’s 7 Principles o Ogilvy’s suggestions in “The View From Touffou.” Ad evaluation form o Pick one of the three ads o Determine the target audience for this ad based on the circulation data the magazine it appeared in. DO NOT give me the whole circulation data as your target audience o Follow guidelines for formatting. 16 characters/inch Layout must be reproduced exactly (hold your paper up to the form and make sure the questions line up) You may vary the margins to 1/2 inch, but the questions must still line up. Mock-up o Show the changes you discussed o Make sure it clearly demonstrates these adjustments. o DO NOT spend all your time on this at the expense of your paper! You are going to talk about what you changed specifically.
