He asks Amir to find the boy and send him to a Christian orphanage in Pakistan. After a journey and a few meetings, Amir and his driver Farid finally found the man that has Sohrab. In the meeting with this Talib Amir finds out the man that has been sexually assaulting Sohrab is Assef. After a deadly fight with Assef, Amir barely escapes and is hospitalized. While Amir is in the hospital Farid informs him the orphanage he is looking does not exist. Later Sohrab and Amir talk about living in America and Sohrab admits he is scared.
