The author’s purpose of this article is to provide information solely on the different aspects of the Airbus A380. The intended audience is anyone interested in learning more about the Airbus A380. The work provides many details about the construction and plane itself. The author uses facts about the plane to provide information into their article. This article could be used as a comparison to Boeing.

This could be used as a comparison to the Boeing 787. “The aluminum and fiberglass layers of Glare do not allow propagation of cracks…” (“The Airbus A380 Superjumbo Twin Deck”). This shows that the 787 does not use layers in construction where as the Airbus A380 does. 5. I would give this article a B. It includes several useful pieces of information when comparing Airbus and Boeing, however the article overall seems like pure numerical statistics instead of inside information....
