Largent 1 Michael Largent Mr. Boyt Advanced Writing 8 December 2008 The Little Old Lady That Could Page 1 Panel 1 [A closed, rectangular panel in the top left corner of the page. Ethel, dressed in a light pink nightgown with white curly hair should be sitting at a lunch table with her walker and oxygen tank by her side. Other elderly residents are passing by with food trays. The room should be slightly dim and depressing.] Narratory Block: [In upper right corner] Ethel sits down for her scheduled lunch. Page 1 Panel 2 [A closed, rectangular panel in the top right corner of the page. Ethel starts to eat a sandwich. The other residents are continuing to pass her table.] Ethel: [Thought balloon] I have a bridge game soon! Page 1 Panel 3 [The remainder of page 1 should be an open panel. Ethel slowly gets up from the table and in the top right corner the dark figure of a man appears. Nobody else is in the lunchroom now.] Page 2 Panel 1 [An open panel covers the top half of the page. The dark figure is now closer to Ethel and is still located in the right corner. The figure is Drew Carey. He is wearing a black suit, round black glasses, and a skinny, long microphone. Drew Carey should be drawn with a large figure. Ethel should have a surprised look and should be located slightly left of the center of the panel.] Ethel: [Thought balloon] There’s the man that took Bob Barker’s Job! Narratory Block: [Bottom left corner] The NEW “Price is Right” host appears.
