Largent 1 Michael Largent Mr. Boyt Advanced Writing 6 October 2008 Saint Louis University vs. SIUE With graduation quickly approaching, many high school seniors are debating what college or university is best suited for them. With so many choices throughout the world, students look to their future career for assistance in the college hunt. During this search, each student has his or her own criteria on what makes a certain university appealing. Once the choice has been narrowed to two schools, the prospective student must evaluate the two universities with in-depth reasoning. Therefore, based on size and location, expenses, and available majors, there are many differences and similarities between Saint Louis University and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. The size and location of the campus, and each individual class, is a key factor in choosing the right university for each student. Saint Louis University, or SLU, can be found in many locations, with its main campus consisting of 115 buildings on 254 acres
