Exams: You will be responsible for all reading assignments, all notes on slides and material presented in lecture. The exams will strongly emphasize the material discussed in class, but other assigned material is fair game. Assignment of grades is based on the total points accumulated from the three highest midterm exams and the cumulative final exam. The lowest of the four midterm exam scores will be dropped. Any missed exam will count as the dropped score thereby removing any need for scheduling make-ups for any midterm exam. The final exam must be taken and cannot be dropped. There will not be an alternate final exam. Review sessions will be held prior to each midterm exam and for the cumulative final exam. These are not reviews per se , but rather a question-and-answer format. Please come with prepared questions to benefit fully. Grading Policies: Midterm exams will be given during regular class hours on the dates indicated in the syllabus. The lowest midterm exam can be dropped but the final exam must
