Who Am I? 2 Who we are and how we define ourselves will always be changing throughout our lives. As we grow more into are adult’s life and experience things in life we continue to develop many qualities depending on how a person makes sense of the world. Erikson’s eight theories provide a better understanding of the concepts an individual goes through and seeks to explain how some perceive the world around us. I found quite a few stages I could relate to very easily. In the following paragraphs I will describe what stages I feel I have been or are in the central questions that pose during the stages. The first stage I could relate to is the stage Intimacy versus Isolation. I can relate more to the Intimate description. I feel that in my life I have developed several close friends who I speak to on a daily basis and I am in a loving and committed relationship. Over time I have gained a
