The fight at Overnite is one of the largest union organizing drives in the United States today. Other unionists are helping picket the trucking company. In St. Louis, 40‐year Teamster Sam Grosbauer emphasized, "I may be retired, but I'm not dead. I am trying to help the strikers at Overnite, picketing from six to eight hours every day." Grosbauer worked for Holland Motor Express. He pointed out, "You could tell with the UPS strike [in 1997] that people are getting tired of what the companies are doing.
