Material: 4 Test Tubes Test Tube Rack Chromate (CrO4) Dichromate (Cr2O7) Berium ( Ba ²+) Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) Procedure: 1. Add 10 drops of Chromate in 4 test tubes, No. them T1, T3, T5 and T,7. Then place the test tubes in the test tube rack. Repeat process for the dichromate, except No. the test tubes T2, T4, T6 and T8. 2. First add 2 drops of NaOH in test tube T1, and T2. Then add 10 drops of HCL for T3 and T4. Take notes, and then reverse the process. Ex. For T! we first added NaOH, now add 3 drops of HCL and take notes. 3. After for part 2, I added 2 drops of NaOH in test tube T5, and HCL in T6 and with it you add to both of the Berium ( Ba ²+). Take notes, and then reverse the process. Add HCL in T5 and NaOH in T6 and take notes. After this add Berium ( Ba ²+) in both T7 and T8 and take notes.
