Unformatted text preview: Sources of Er ror The uncertainty of the UV-VISIBLE spectrophotometer can give error in the measurement of the absorbance because it never constantly had a specific result for each concentration. Our equipment could have been stained and unable to clean by rinsing the equipment with water. The powder NaNO3 and CuSO4 may have not been mixed properly with the distilled water, since the magnetic rotator does not tell us when the solution has been successful mixed so during the experiment we had to assume that it was successfully mixed in our own judgement. We believe that due to the environmental conditions in the lab, we may have lost powder, when weighing and transfer the powder because we didnt have a close lid on the powder the small fragments of particles may have been swept away into the air and other unwanted particles may have been added to our solvent. We had to assume the solution was in perfect equilibrium and the solvent was separated equally throughout the whole solution. separated equally throughout the whole solution....
