PLEASE BE HONEST This take-home examination is NOT INTENDED TO BE A COLLABORATIVE PROJECT. Each student is expected to complete this exam on his/her own. Exams with identical errors and similar scores will be reviewed by the instructor. Cheating will result in 0 points awarded to all students involved, the failing grade on the test, and any other penalty consistent with the rules of American River College. PLEASE PRINT THE HARD COPY OF THE EXAM BEFORE MONDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2010 AT 7:30A.M. After Monday, October 11, 2010, at 7:30a.m., exams will NO LONGER BE ACCESIBLE TO STUDENTS (you will not be able to print the hard copy)! Students must submit BOTH the filled out Scan-tron AND the hard copy of the exam to the instructor. Students who do not submit the hard copy of the exam with their filled out Scan-tron will be awarded 0 points for the exam. PLEASE USE SCAN-TRON FORM No. 882E AND PENCIL #2 Students failing to use Scan-tron form no.882E and pencil #2 will be awarded 0 points for the exam and assigned an F as their exam grade PLEASE STAPLE THE PAGES OF THE EXAM but DO NOT STAPLE THE SCAN-TRON TO THE HARD COPY OF THE EXAM PLEASE WRITE YOUR NAME AND ID # on the Scan-tron AND the hard copy of the exam Students who do not write their and ID number on the Scan-tron and the hard copy of the exam will be awarded 0 points for the exam. PLEASE HIGHLIGHT OR CIRCLE IN INK correct answers on the hard copy of the exam Students who fail to highlight/circle the answers on the hard copy will receive 0 points for the question that is not highlighted/circled on the hard copy. Scan-tron answers must match the answers on the hard copy. Students will receive 0 points for the answers that do not match. THE EXAM IS DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS PERIOD (7:30A.M. ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2010) The class begins when the instructor begins to take attendance. As I read your name, please come to the front of the classroom, submit your exam in an orderly fashion, and return to your seat. Students who do not respond and/or do not submit their exams at this point will be considered late. 10 points will be deducted for each class period that the exam is late. Come to class even if you have not completed your exam. You will lose 10 points, but you will not miss the lecture, and you will not incur an absence.
