Study Population: Lotto 6/49 jackpot winning in Ontario. Sample: Lotto 6/49 jackpot winning statistics from January 1, 2006 to February 21, 2009 Measurements are made by counting the number of days between two consecutive jackpots. Assumptions: The drawing process is unbiased. The total number of players is consistent each time. The data follows a Gamma distribution. Simplifying assumption: drawing days can be any day of a week.
