STEM CELLSA stem cell is an undifferentiated cell of a multicellular organism that is capable of giving rise to indefinitely more cells of the same type, and from which certain other kinds of cell arise by differentiation.Stem cells in mammals are classified into two broad categories: embryonic stem cells, and adult stem cells. In adult organisms, stem cells and progenitor cells act as a repair system for the body, replenishing adult tissues. In a developing embryo, stem cells can be differentiate into all the specialized cells-ectoderm, endoderm and mesoderm but also maintain the normal turnover of regenerative organs, such as blood, skin, or intestinal tissues. (Solomon, 2012).There are three known sources of autologous adult stem cells in human beings:The bone marrow, which requires extraction by drilling into the bone typically the femur and iliac crest.Adipose tissues that is the lipid cells which requires extraction by liposuction.
