Richard Canada Lesson 1 Westfield High school was a suburban town trying to fulfill the city status. Carmel was adjacent to Westfield and had already accomplished the city status. All us Westfield kids looked at Carmel like everyone else in Hamilton County, “a bunch of snooty rich kids that don’t know the first thing about a budget.” It wasn’t an average morning before school to say the least. I had a twin a sister that had an everlasting crush on Aaron Carter. She would pop that CD in her 6-disk changer every morning and play “I want candy!” possibly the worst song to start your day with, not to mention on the first day of freshman year. I already had enemies to deal with entering freshman year. My sister had many bouts with her friends that had brothers and I would intervene and it was just a mess. Let’s just say a lot of them wanted to kick my ass and I knew it. Mostly everyone at Westfield that couldn’t drive rode the bus. The bus had a known rule that everyone just abided by. The seniors got the back of the bus and in chronological order you ended with the freshman sitting in the front. None of my buddies rode the bus so I just sat with my
