Richard Canada Extra Credit 2 11-3-10 Beyond Climategate: What Role for Science and the Media in the Making of Climate Policy? The panel will represent three people that will discuss their views on the issue. Judith Curry is one panelist who used to be a professor of earth and atmospheric sciences at Purdue. She was professor here from 1986 to 1989. She since has moved on and currently is professor and chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech. She does research for air-sea interactions, climate feedback processes, and the climate changes of hurricanes. She has even started a blog called Climate Etc. Andrew Revkin graduated from Brown University with a biology degree and got his masters from Columbia University. Andrew is currently an Environmental Reporter for the New York Times. He has also written many books like, “The Burning Season”, “Global Warming: Understanding the Forecast”,
