Snooping – Values, Spaces and Animal Personality The role of values Basic Values - Big Five – personality traits, characteristic ways that people behave across situations. OCEAN model Openness – Leonardo (Renaissance man). Reflects people who think about different abstract diverse thoughts. On the opposite side of the scale, are people that prefer conservative, proven ideas. Outlook to uncertainty. Conscientiousness – Frontal lobe function. Controlling impulses, thinking before acting, planning. Extraversion – Outgoing, engaged, like being with people. Introverts are the opposite. Agreeableness – Mr. Rogers factor, warm and sympathetic. Opposite is Simon Cowell. Neuroticism – Easily stressed out, anxious, high strung. Opposite is laidback.
