Final Review Pathetique Piano Sonata in c minor Op. 13 Piece was dedicated to his friend Prince Karl von Lichnowsky, a big patron. The piece was named by the publisher, who was impressed by the sonata’s tragic sonorities. 1) Grave- Allegro di molto e con brio a. Very slow with solemnity, quickly with much vigor b. It indicates that he just saw her Antonie Brentano : married a merchant when she was 18, she is very unhappy and missed Vienna. Her father was dying and she ended staying Vienna for 3 years. She met Beethoven during spring time of 1810. She was very close to Beethoven, but he knows her husband as well.
