Undergraduate Program OCEANOGRAPHY I. OBJECTIVES This program leads to a Batchelor of Science in Oceanography. It is intended to prepare students with comprehensive political and moral and physical properties and common knowleadges and specializion in oceanography knowleadges. The education program provides students with common knowledge on mathematics, physics, chemistry, informatics and advanced computation skills in order to build up a strong foundation for serving in the field of oceanography. Graduates can find their carrier at colleges and universities, reseach institutes or other consultant companies related to the field of marine hydrometeorology, oceanography, marine resources and environment management. II. CONTENTS 1. Total number of credits: 131 divided as following : - Common subjects: 30 - Social sciences and humanites: 4 - Fundamental science subjects: 37 - Basic knowledges subjects: 31 - Specialization subjects: 22 + Core: 4 + Elective: 18 - Minor thesis or graduation examination: 7 2.
