Die-hard NASCAR fans bring their whole home to the track, campers, and access to that resource is given to Giant Food. They have use of venue, fan access, and concession rights. It’s a huge deal to add Giant Food as a strategic partner because Wal-Mart was still an option. NASCAR has done well with grocers in the past, doubling in growth. Many of NASCAR’s other partners are sold in grocery stores, so it is a benefit for everyone in this situation. The best partnership is one that everyone, even your other partners, can benefit and grow in some aspect.
