Tunya Alexander September 28, 2009 ACAD 2200 Reflection #2 The motivation behind returning to the University of Memphis is the lost of employment  and being unable to find a job.  With the economy being so bad right now, I have not been able to  obtain a full time job.  I have been laid off since March of this year and I am still looking for  work. It was hard enough with the job, not making enough money to make ends meet. But of  course it is even harder now. I am 37 years old, single mother with two teenagers. My second  reason is my family, I want to be able to give them a better life and in order for me to do that I  must get my college degree.  My third reason is; I am always telling my children you have to go  to college for a better living.  Well. What is better than telling them?  Showing them is the best  way.  Actions speak louder than words.  My fourth reason is I am tired.  For the last five years

What students are saying

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
