Different types of Organization: 1) Nonprofit organization 2) Service organizations (instead of manufacturing) 3) Nongovernmental organizations (NGOs)- Coordinate processes of change in first and third world nations 4) Cooperatives (co-ops)- For individuals with similar needs and goals to come together- Motivated by a concern for democracy, social justice, and environmental and global responsibility 5) Virtual Organizations 6) Social Organizations- Fraternities and sororities, families or groups of friends who are coordinating around valued goals and tasks Chapter 2: Classical Approaches 1.
