Unformatted text preview: Tallis Kirby I had asked Dr. Schajer how the streamlined MECH 2 courses related to taking elective courses in Mechanical Engineering from the Integrated Engineering program. Dr. Schajer mentioned that Integrated is tied closely with Mechanical and generally there aren't too many difficulties accessing the MECH courses. I had also asked him about the nature of Co-op programs, and if we had the opportunity to work internationally. Dr. Schajer then told us all that at UBC we do indeed go abroad and he recommended that we do so when in the Co-op program. It sounds like Co- op is a very important part of any Engineering discipline. Andros Raimondi Do Coop students tend to do better than non coop students? A: He believes that there may be a hood relationship between the two, but he said that the students that do coop are more focused and more mature in dealing with the whole environment.
