Monika Kasperek Jeran B. FYE 1091A 10/23/2008 “Ethics on employers that search employee bags.” “Random search” by employer is a form of monitoring employee. This method of control is the most influenced to employee’s privacy. An employer has to obey some rules when he is searching our bags, purses or clothes. Before employer decide to do “random search” he should said his employees that he may do it. That should be also containing in agreement. Employer can search our stuff only when he wants to taking care about his own interest. Searching is lawful practice but cannot exceed moral and society rules. When I work I want to feel comfortable and I want to know that my employer trust me. I understand that I am new in a work and my employer doesn’t know me and he want to make sure that I am a good employee. In this situation he can search my purse after my hours work. I think he may feel not so good during searching my stuff but maybe somebody who worked before my in the same company was stealing and now my
