M E M O R A N D U M TO: Advertising 318J Students FROM: Melissa Barnes, Laura Correnti, John Murphy, Alex Ratzel, Sonny Rosenthal and Amanda Thomas DATE: December 5, 2006 RE: What should I expect on the final exam? The purpose of this memorandum is to outline some tips about what the final will be like and what will be covered plus what will not be covered. These important tips and suggestions are presented below. The one-hour final exam will begin at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 16, 2006. The location of the exam is to be announced. This exam is optional and will not be administered at any other time. (1.) • Same format, etc. as regular exams -- 25/25 class v. text; 1 hour; bring pencil; etc. • Bring your UT id -- We will definitely check IDs on the final . • Material on exam is spread evenly over entire course. Questions focus on the broader issues and, in most cases, the questions are easier than exams during semester. • Almost everyone improves their points total many their course grade. • The final can only help your grade not hurt.
