Some tips and important notes about the exam: 1. When you get to the classroom, you will be asked to leave everything up front (except for your calculator, pencils, and ID). This helps with proctoring and keeps the aisles clear so the TA and proctors are free to move around to answer questions. Please do not bring anything you are not willing to leave away from your desk. 2. I wrote the exam so you should be able to complete it in the normal 50 minute period, assuming you are adequately prepared. Make sure you have done plenty of practice problems on your own, without referring to your notes. You should be able to work the problems at a reasonable pace without struggling through each. I know many students like extra time so they feel more relaxed, so you may start the exam anytime between 7:30 and 8:00. No student may start after 8:25 and no student may leave before 8:25, even if you start early. 2. Baseball caps must be removed or turned backwards. 3. You may not leave the room during the exam. 4. NO programmable calculators.
