Blackout Speech INTRODUCTION: Now that you all can successfully brew your own “brew”, What comes next? The other side of serving is consumption Consumption can go one of two ways. 1.) Relaxed, limited amount of drinks ingested, resulting in a nice buzz. 2.) Binge drinking or greater. According to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, 5 drinks in a two hour period for men, or 3-4 drinks in a two hour period for women is considered binge drinking. What happens when you double or triple this already alarming amount of booze? -Have you ever woken and asked what happened last night? One of two things could have occurred, either you were roofied or you blacked out. BODY OF SPEECH: This phenomena is called a blackout, there are two types En Bloc, full memory loss, no recollection of a memories from the night before, hard to diagnose, the vast majority of En Bloc end in sleep. One seems very aware for the time being, realistically, the extent to which memory lasts is 2 minutes. One is able to complete very impressive feats.
