  What is social justice? The concept of  social justice  has different meanings for different  people and depending on the situation. Nonetheless, it may help to  think of if in three ways: Distributive justice: fair outcomes, such as pay distributions, equal access  to education and health services Procedural justice: fairness in how decisions are made, such as fair vs.  unfair tax system Retributive justice: refers to fair punishments and how severe it should  be.
