Testing Intelligence 1 Amanda Garcia 1. Did you feel the results were accurate? I feel that the results were fairly accurate. I received a score of Higher Average which I am OK with. I would like to think that I am either Gifted or Above Average, but I am happy with Higher Average. 2. Was the test biased in any way? I think that the test is biased because the majority of these questions are either dealing with patterns or math. Many people are not good at either. However, that does not mean that they are not intelligent. Their intelligence just might excel in other areas such as verbal or short term

As long as there is a valid reason for the comparison I think that it would be ok for my scores to be compared against another individual’s. For instance, if I were applying for a position as a Math teacher as well as another person, I think it would be completely acceptable to compare and contrast our two scores. Now if I am applying to be a journalist and another person is applying to be a Chemist then I really do not think that the scores should be compared....
