Feedback and Essay Types 2 Feedback is a great tool that can be used to determine what areas might need a little more help when writing. For example, if the feedback provided is mostly in regards to punctuation issues, then a writer knows that he or she really needs to focus on that aspect in writing and might want to take some more time to work on learning more about punctuation. It is important though, to keep an open mind regarding the feedback and try not to let any feelings get hurt. If personal feedback is not what the writer prefers, then there are tools such as WritePoint which is a computer program that can also provide feedback. Persuasive essays have 3 essential parts that make it a persuasive paper. Clearly defining the topic and where the writer stands on the subject is the first and most important step.
