Nicole Rushin  Professor: Carole Borowski 5/17/09 Evaluation Essay My Perspective of the class While taking English 1102, I have to say I enjoyed the section on poetry the most. I have always  been interested in poetry and it was great to read the writings of so many different authors.  Each had some similarities and differences; some were romantic poets while others wrote about  more cultural things as race such as Langston Hughes.  I also write poetry but most of it as a  rhythmic quality to it.  I see poetry as a way to get to know the poet without meting them. Each  has their own unique way getting their view across to an audience without forcing their opinion  owns others; it’s as if they are eye openers to the blind. This class allowed me to use literary terms which I have never focused much on in the past.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
