MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION SCENARIO 2 Multicultural Education Scenario It is important for any and all children to be educated about different cultures. To be the most effective in multicultural education it is best to start early on in education. A second grade classroom with groups of children with diversity in abilities and cultures could the best atmosphere. These children will be able to not only learn from their teacher, but also each other. Multicultural education will only be the most effective when the teaching staff, parents, and students work together. In the classroom, there should be decorations that show parts of each culture. Out of the 4 walls 3 should have preconfigured visuals of that have designed representing each student’s culture. During work group time the students will divided among 3 groups. Each group should 1-2 students from each cultural group, Latino, African American, Native American, Asian, and White. Within each group there will be at least one student with special needs.
