Martin Luther King Day on the Eve of Inauguration President Barack Obama reflects back on the day of President Thomas Jefferson inauguration held at the State the Capitol. President Jefferson was surrounded by young and delicate constituency, which had elected him and those who feared the union could uphold anymore failure. President Jefferson was elected during a time the country was at war and in a financial turmoil. President Jefferson delivered a message to the citizens of the United States, that he is cognizant how democracies opinions differ, we as responsible citizen need to “unite with one heart and mind in order to begin anew work of construction our nation”. More than two centuries ago President Jefferson was faced with the same crisis during his election, which our newly elect President Barack Obama is facing today. President Barack Obama took an oath on January 20, 2009 to preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United State while our nations is at war and in a financially turmoil. The American people, no matter what political party, race or religious they were affiliated
