geostat Geometric mean and variance Syntax [M,V] = geostat(P) Description [M,V] = geostat(P) returns the mean of and variance for the geometric distribution with corresponding probabilities in P . The mean of the geometric distribution with parameter p is q / p , where q = 1- p . The variance is q / p 2 . Examples [m,v] = geostat(1./(1:6))
