Chemistry 3A Suggested Problems #1 A few notes about the suggested problems. For those from the exambook, you will find the notation X(Y). X refers to the page number at the bottom MIDDLE of the page. The Y refers to the problem on that page. If there is more than one numbered problem on a page, then you will see a number for Y, possibly followed by a letter. For example, 5(1C) translate’s to the problem labeled 1c on page 5. If there are no numbers in () then the letters refer to the lettered problems on the page. If there is just a page number then try everything that is on that page. For the problems from Vollhardt's book, these include the problems within the chapter as well as at the end of the chapter. Within the
