2 Objectives: The objective of this lab is to introduce the software,  LogicWorks . The student will  learn how to use to software to create half adders, full adders, an increment and a class library.  Expected Outcome: The expected out come for the lab is for the student to be able to use  LogicWorks.  Overtime, the student should be able to create large circuits based on smaller  circuits.

3 Half Adder (Tutorial) The design of the 1-bit half adder was to have two inputs and two outputs. Using  LogicWorks the student create two binary switches, A and B. Both inputs were processed through an OR  gate and a XOR gate. The result of the XOR gate would be noted as the SUM(S) and the output  of the OR gate would be noted as the COUT(C). The results were shown on a binary probe. The student was asked to create a device symbol of the Half Adder and to create the symbol in  a new library called, “Classlib”. The approach for the task was to replace the binary switches  with Port Ins and binary probes with Port Outs. The Ports would have to be labeled. The student
