Unformatted text preview: - Discussion Post #9 How important do you think contract law is in our country? Why? Do any of the four requirements seem more important to you than the other three? A contract intends to formalize an agreement between two or more parties, in relation to a particular subject. Contracts can cover an extremely broad range of matters, including the sale of goods or real property, the terms of employment or of an independent contractor relationship, the settlement of a dispute, and ownership of intellectual property developed as part of a work for hire. To me this is a very important law to be implemented by our country. When a contract is made it is their/our duty to follow through with that such said contract. Without laws to protect us from being used our scammed, our society may never follow through with anything. Picture this, New York City as people know it today may not have been there. The Time Square may have only gotten half done, and walked away from because of avoidance by the contracted person. But do to laws that help bind these contracts.
