BIL 151 Final exam study guide *K1 (Mon. lab): the final exam will be on Monday, Dec. 14 at 8pm in Cox 102* *U4 (Thurs. lab): the final exam will be on Thursday, Dec. 10 at 8pm in Cox 110* The final exam is not cumulative, but anything that we covered in both the first and second half of the course may be covered (example, statistical tests). For each lab, know what the purpose of the lab was and what you did for the lab. Be able to answer all the quiz questions. The keys are posted on blackboard in the documents section. Lab 6: Anaerobic and aerobic cellular respiration What is aerobic cellular respiration? What is anaerobic cellular respiration (fermentation is an example of this)? Know the basic reactions of each: What goes in and what comes out What types of sugars do you expect yeast to be able to metabolize anaerobically? What is a rate? How do you measure the rate of respiration? What variables can affect the rate or respiration in organisms and how? Lab 7: Presentations (this is also the same for Lab 10)
