The similarities between the 2 abstracts are that they both took me a long time to write. They also have the similarity that they both deal with genetics. The research and non-research paper has the same kind of outline. They start out by giving an introduction of what they did during the project. After the introduction it goes into greater detail by dividing the paper into the categories in those categories they go

The research article was in more scientific terms than the non-research article. The non-research article was very boring and dry in its wording of the articles.
