Vitamin E Facts Health practitioners generally agree that vitamins are essential for good long life and good health. So, we should make certain that we receive adequate amounts for our bodies to function at their peak and to also protect us from illnesses. Vitamin E is one of the vitamins that we should pay make sure is in our diet. Vitamin E was discovered in the mid-twentieth century. This important vitamin assists in strengthening our immune system and it also helps to protect us from a variety of health issues such as several serious illnesses. This vitamin can be obtained from fresh natural foods like pecans. Research published recently shows that adding even just a handful of pecans to your daily diet can help inhibit unwanted oxidation of blood lipids, and thus is effective in helping prevent heart disease ! Research suggests that this positive effect is partly due to a pecans’ significant level of Vitamin E. A Pecan contains many different forms of vitamin E.
