Metal Recycling Metal recycling is the process of reusing old metal scrap material, mainly aluminum and steel, to make new products. Metal recycling lowers production costs for metal manufacturers and helps deliver quality metal products throughout the world. Scrap metal recycling is one of the key elements to a cleaner environment. Millions of tons of scrap metal are processed across the globe each year. It is said that around 10 million tons of it comes from old construction vehicles.
