To produce 1 lb of beef requires 5,200 gallons of water (half of all water  available in US) o Meat-eating diet requires, 200 gallons per day o Vegetarian diet requires 300 gallons per day 87% of all agricultural land is used for meat production 1/3 of all fossil fuels are used to raise animals for food One acre of trees disappears every eight seconds to provide land to produce  meat  Ruminant livestock produce about 80 million metric tons of methane o 28% of global methane emissions USE MEAT AS A CONDIMENT!!!! Who decides how much of each nutrient you need?
