List all of the components of two of your meals. Meal 1 Black Angus Steak Salad Potato Meal 2 Jenny O Turkey Burger Jalapeños Swiss cheese A. Where did each component of your meal originate? List the country that each part of your meal came from. Meal 1 The Black Angus steak originated in North Carolina. The Salad came in the ready salad bags and was from California. The Potatoes originated in Idaho. Meal 2 The Jenny O Turkey Burger came from New York. The jalapeños made by Juanita’s was imported from Mexico and the Swiss cheese came from Finland. B. List where you purchased the products from.

Meal 1 The Black Angus Steak I bought from the Angus Barn in Raleigh NC. The salad I picked up at Wal-Mart in the Vegetable section and the Potatoes I picked up at Wal-Mart in the Vegetable section. Meal 2 I purchased my Jenny o Turkey burgers from Wal-Mart in the frozen section. The Jalapeños I got at Wal-Mart in the Hispanic foods. The Swiss cheese I picked up in the Deli department of Wal- Mart. C. Consider the chain of events that took the product to get from the farm/laboratory to your table. Meal 1
