Anschutz argues that unrealistic standards of beauty from Western societies have a negative effect on body image and eating behaviors especially in women. 3. This article is exactly what I am trying to argue. It illustrates the extreme behaviors women and girls are going to be to be considered thin and attractive because of the influence of the media.
