Fiber Research Checkpoint Fiber is such a short word, but is very important to each and every human being’s body. “Fiber is very important for the health of the digestive system and for lowering cholesterol.” (American Heart Association 2008) It’s very important that humans consume foods containing fiber. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
