REVIEW SESSIONS During an exam week, there will be no regular discussions . Instead, the TA will conduct ONE evening review session for ALL students. Times and locations are listed below. ADD/DROP The last date to drop the course for a possible refund is Friday, September 10, 2010. The last day to drop the course without a possible academic penalty is Wednesday, September 22, 2010 (requires instructor approval). After this, students may go to the Dean's office, WCH 2.112, to appeal for non-academic reasons. TEXT (REQUIRED) We will be using the Zumdahl eBook CHEMICAL PRINCIPLES (6TH EDITION), Houghton Mufflin Publishing. In order to have access to the ebook, you will need to buy a registration code, you can buy this on line or from the book store. Once you have your registration code, please go to: , click on Create a New Student Account and follow the instructions. Cut and paste the address above into a new window. If you use the link through Blackboard, you will not be able to log into your textbook. READING ASSIGNMENTS We will cover, in the order they are listed, the following chapters: 12, 13, 14, 5, 16, 9 and 10. A daily tentative lectures schedule is posted at the end of the syllabus. All daily reading assignments will be announced in class and posted on blackboard.
