Patient presents with complaints of trauma to thedorsum of her nose on the right side, which left her with a buckle or bump in the cartilage. Shealso has a mild hump and an initial impression of some drooping of her tip, she also has fullnessof the region, the upper lateral cartilages and the tip, which makes it appear somewhat wide. Shewas told she has a deviated septum. Her main interests are “making my nose more narrow” and“taking away the bump.”PHYSICAL EXAMINATION: Thepatient has some animated flaring of her nostrils, whichmakes them look fairly prominent in the frontal view; and she appears to have some notching inthe nostrils on the lateral view.
