Voyager Sky Gazer: Getting Started Print out this sheet and follow the instructions, filling in answers on the sheet as you go. When you are done, log onto the course web site at http://angel.msu.edu and type the answers you have written down into the Exercise 1 form in the Lessons area on Angel. This first exercise should be relatively simple. It’s just meant to get you started using the Voyager Sky Gazer program. Once we see your answers to the questions, we will know whether you have gotten the program working properly. 1. Install Sky Gazer. Obtain a copy of the Voyager Sky Gazer CD-ROM. It comes free with every new copy of The Essential Cosmic Perspective , the textbook for the ISP 205 lecture course. It also comes with some used copies of the textbook. If you are not taking ISP 205 concurrently with the lab, then consider borrowing the disk from a friend who has a copy perhaps one of your lab teammates has a copy. Once you have a Voyager Sky Gazer disk, simply put it into a computer to which you will have access throughout the semester and drag the SkyGazer folder
