Career Opportunities The first job position I found in the accounting field in my area is an Accounting Finance Manager at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia, Louisiana. This is a full time position; the person is required to have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum two year’s experience. The starting salary for this job is not listed. The person who gets this job is responsible for corporate accounting which means reporting and analysis (forecasting). They are also responsible to directly engage in business development activities, manage day-to-day finance operations, oversee management reporting process, planning and budgeting. The next position I found is in Lafayette Louisiana at Our Lady of Lourdes regional Medical Center as a Financial Analyst 2. This person is required to have a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting and the applicant must pass the CPA exam one year from hire date.
